The man behind the drone
I’m David. I’ve been flying drones around Ireland since 2020. What started as messing about with an FPV drone in Portlaoise turned into filming the Eras Tour weekend at the Aviva, three years of Electric Picnic and flythroughs for shops, gyms and pubs all over the country.
I fly two kinds of drone: a steady one for the big cinematic aerials, and a small fast FPV one that can go through a front door, down the aisles and out the back without a single cut.

How much does drone videography cost in Ireland?
Every job is different, so I price per project rather than a flat rate. A straightforward aerial shoot costs less than a full-day event or a multi-visit construction record. Tell me what you’re planning through the quote form and I’ll come back with a clear price, no obligation.
Do you travel outside Laois?
Yes, everywhere in Ireland. Portlaoise puts most of the country within a couple of hours, and I’ve filmed in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Wicklow and plenty of places between.
What exactly is an FPV flythrough?
A small first-person-view drone flies one continuous route through your space: in the front door, around the inside and back out, with no cuts. It works brilliantly for shops, bars, gyms, showrooms and venues, because people watch it the whole way through.
Can you really fly indoors?
Yes. The FPV drones are small and built for tight spaces, which is how the supermarket, pharmacy and showroom flythroughs on this page were filmed.
What do I get at the end?
